Employment Unit

Welcome to the Employment Support Unit in the Local Employment Service.

Paula and Sandra work together to support Jobseekers in their journey back to employment. They work closely with Maura and Lisa in the Jobs Club to provide this support.

Sandra Dignam is the Employment Mediator in the Local Employment Service since 2007. Sandra provides on going support to job seekers through job seeking sessions, cv and interview support and linking clients with job and training opportunities.

Sandra has a wide range of experience working in the Community and a Diploma in Adult Guidance Theory and Practice.

Paula Murray has been working as Employer Liaison Officer in the Local Employment Service since 2006. Paula promotes the LES as a Recruitment Service to Employers. She links and matches Job Seekers skills and experience with Employers needs. Paula also supports Jobseekers with job applications and mock interviews.

Paula has experience working as a Human Resource Professional with a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Mangement and a diploma in Adult Guidance Thoery and Practice.
