Extended Coverage

In 2008 the Board of Blanchardstown Area Partnership agreed to the proposal by the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to extend the boundaries of Area-based Partnerships under the Cohesion process. As a result, the Partnership now has responsibility to provide services to the whole of the Dublin 15 area.

To mark this extension of services, we are happy to present this calendar of people and places in Dublin 15 – some from the past, some from the not too distant past and some very current and up to date. We hope that some of the dramatic changes that have happened in our area are displayed in these photographs of ‘Then and Now’ and that they display the rich diversity that makes up the vibrant Dublin 15 that we have to-day.

The calendar is part of a collection of Dublin 15 ‘Then and Now’ which also includes a short DVD and an exhibition of photographs.
