Enterprise Training for Ethnic Entrepreneurs
New Programme Starting 8 November . . . Now Enrolling Participants
8 programmes have been run successfully from October 2006 to 2010.
More than 100 people, from a total 24 different nationalities, have completed the course. Out of these 29 SUCCEED participants have established businesses.
Some of these businesses include:
- Cargo distribution
- Consultancy services
- Advertising agency
- Recruitment agency
- Catering
- Accountancy and bookkeeping
- Web browsing for mobile phones
- Language school/Translation services
- African/Caribbean foodstuffs
- Cleaning services
- Construction
- On-line Asian foods
- Courier
The main focus of SUCCEED is on creating a better understanding of how business is conducted in Ireland and Irish business culture. While encouraging Ethnic entrepreneurs that them can succeed in Ireland.
All modules of the programme have been designed with a major emphasis on the practical.
Topics covered include:
- Business Planning;
- Taxation;
- Selling;
- Marketing;
- Social Media;
- Communications;
- Irish Business Practices & Culture.
Next programme starts on 8 November.
All classes will be held in the Blanchardstown Partnership offices in Coolmine Ind Est, Clonsilla, Dublin 15.
