In October 2008, Blanchardstown Area Partnership circulated a Position Paper that was endorsed by the Board. This report was prepared in-house by key staff and management of BAP and the LES.
This paper recognises the many challenges to be addressed by society and the part the Partnership should play along the way in helping meet this challenges.
The report also sets out a Vision for 2016 that the Blanchardstown Area Partnership aspires to help realise.
“Blanchardstown in 2016 will be a place where every member of the community is valued; lives in a safe and secure environment; where education provision meets the needs of each individual; where there is a job for everyone who wants to work, and employment supports are available to those who require them; and where the diversity of population is accepted and appreciated”.
