Partnership welcomes President Mary McAleese

Fáilte Isteach

The Partnership celebrated the launch by President McAleese of Blanchardstown's third "Failte Isteach" initiative on Friday 12th May in Mountview Youth and Community Centre. "Failte Isteach" has been providing English conversation classes to over forty people each week in Blanchardstown in three venues, the tutors are all volunteers.

Dublin 15 Failte Isteach

Failte Isteach is a project where older volunteers from the area welcome members of the migrant community through conversational English classes. I Blanchardstown, the classes take place in three venues:

Mulhuddart Community Centre on Wednesday mornings from 10am to 12am;

Fortlawn Community Centre on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm

In The Partnership's Offices at Dillon House, Coolmine Business Park form 2pm to 4pm on Thursday.

If you would like to attend any of the classes, please just come along to the venue. If you would like to become a volunteer, or would like further information, please contact Monica at mpelazza@bap.ie or Lilian at lharris@bap.ie.
